1. 4 He rebukes the sea,+ and he dries it up;

4 그분은 바다를 꾸짖고+ 말려 버리시며

2. I have seen evil rebuked and the elements controlled.

저는 악이 징계를 받고 모든 요소들이 통제되는 것을 보았습니다.

3. 68 Behold, at my rebuke I adry up the sea.

68 보라, 내가 내 꾸짖음으로 바다를 ᄀ마르게 하느니라.

4. That also drew a rebuke from Jesus: “Put the sword into its sheath.

그러한 일로 인해 예수께서는 또한 다음과 같이 질책하셨읍니다.

5. At that, Jesus “rebuked the wind . . . , and the wind abated, and a great calm set in.” —Mark 4:37-39.

그때 예수께서는 “바람을 꾸짖으[셨으며] ··· 그러자 바람이 잠잠해지고 아주 고요하게 되었[습니다].”—마가 4:37-39.

6. Though motivated by compassion, he committed the error of presuming to take Jesus aside and actually rebuke him for foretelling his future sufferings and death as the Messiah.

베드로는 동정심에서 그렇게 한 것이기는 하지만, 주제넘게도 예수를 따로 모시고 가서, 장차 메시아로서 고난을 겪고 죽임을 당하게 될 것이라고 예언한 데 대해 그분을 실제로 나무라는 잘못을 범하였다.
